the sailing post

I had fun on the boat. So much fun that I wanted to stay on the bow for the whole trip back to the dock. I helped tie us up to the dock from the the bow.

our fifth boat trip

Yesterday, we went on the boat again. Simon and I went up on the bow and laid down. We put our feet in the water while we were sailing. We were careful to hold on tight to the mast and the horn cleat. Also we were wearing our life jackets. We sailed south and then tacked back north. There is an osprey nest near the dock where we launch. We saw that the osprey babies have white heads. They were standing on the edge of the nest.
Nothing on the boat broke. We got back safely. We had fun.

My Birthday Post

I had fun with my friend. She came to play today. I like the cool present she gave me - a snake jungle for Matchboxes. The coolest part is that it can fold up so you can carry it around. I am having fun with my new arm blaster toy.

the boys' day on the boat

Sunday, Dad, my brother and I went on the water in the boat. And we went under the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. I drove the boat to get out of the dock. We saw the Washington Monument, and the Capitol Building, and we put our hands in the water for a long time. Simon and I used the oar locks as mini motor boat steering wheels and had races.

my big house

Today, I built a big house. It has 3 levels. It has a porch.

Today I made a war flag. I am going to find a big stick and I will take a piece of string and I will tie it to the flag. Then I will tie the other end to the top of the stick.

Simon's Easter Post

I had fun with Caroline and Isaac and Mary Ellen and Uncle Todd at Easter. The grownups hid the eggs and the kids found them. Then we opened up our eggs and we had fun with the stuff inside of them. Then I started to play with my Diego toy. Then we had dinner. Then I played with my Diego toy a lot more and then I played with my Hot Wheel. And then I played with Caroline's Hot Wheel for a little while with mine.

A week ago we found 2 spiders. We were doing bubbles,then I stopped,I saw a spider,I called Simon over,he watched the spider, I found another spider, I called over Simon the 2'nd time. 1 was crawling, the other 1 was on the bricks. by chas.

Yesterday I made a harp. This picture below is a picture of me with my harp. To make one, you will need, scissors, a small box, and 4 rubber bands. bye!

i sewed a book holder for my nature notebook.we used diego fabric. mommy and i sewed while talking.

Today we made a seismograph. We made it out of paper, a shoe box, and a rolling pin. One person shook the table, another pulled the paper, then another held a pencil.

i had a dream that i was edmend from the book called narnia. well i was with this girl this girl brout me in to mommy.s room end said that there was a monster. on mommy.s bed end it was invisible end my sword went through it
